CCleaner seems unable to fix the ActiveX/COM issue due to insufficient
permissions on that registry entry. To resolve this try the following
procedure:-
In CCleaner - select to Open in Regedit
Right-click highlighted - permissions
Advanced button
Owner - change
Administrators - Check Names - OK
Tick - Replace owner on subcontainers and objects - Ok
Advanced - Highlight Administraors -
Tick "Replace all child object permission entries with inheritable permissions from this object" - Ok - Yes
Ok
Close Regedit
In CCleaner select to "Fix issue(s)"
Scan for issues - issue(s) cleared
I hope that helps -Cheers
