How to block a site from being Accessed.

1. Click on Start > Run > Type "C:/WINDOWS/system32/drivers" and press Enter.

2. Find the file named “HOSTS”.

3. Open it using notepad.

4. Search for "127.0.0.1 localhost"

5. Under “127.0.0.1 localhost” Add 127.0.0.2 www.orkut.com , and that site will no longer be accessable.

6. Example :

127.0.0.1 localhost 127.0.0.2 www.orkut.com

7. If you want to add more sites then just increment the IP address by one and add it to the list. Eg:

127.0.0.3 www.yahoo.com 127.0.0.4 www.msn.com 127.0.0.5 www.google.com

8. You can use this trick to block popup sites as well or any other advertising site.
