You can only send friends request upto 857. And if you try to add more they will show a message you have extended you limits and bla bla stuff.
You can you add friends 5000 not more then that. If you have pending request to confirm they won't be able to add you only follow you.
If without you knowledge someone blocks you or deactivated their account it will still be counted in your friends list unless you search manually and unfriend them one by one.
Note- there is no way to find who has blocked you or deactivated their account. Facebook does not provide any special option.
If you want to add some and don't know if its a male or female. Just go to about option of that profile and it will show you by saying "where he lives" or "where she lives". And if the person clames to be a girl but shows where "he" lives then immadiately unfriend them. It will save you space and make room for others.

Add them who has add friend button and go threw their friend list for hot chick. And later u can unfriend the old hags. And keep in mind when you add a person try to chat with them.
